It's never too early to start thinking about your succession!

When it comes to succession planning there are a lot of topics to be covered. In my keynote speech I highlighted eight takeaways to be taken into consideration:

1. Duration --> It takes a long time - so better start today than tomorrow.
2. Complexity --> Successions are complex – it's not only the financial part...
3. Support --> Find support by a specialist.
4. Action --> Take immediate action. Now.
5. Value and Price --> No profit, no proceeds.
6. Involvement sale side --> Your successor will need your help.
7. Emotions --> It's going to be a rollercoaster.
8. Communication --> is key!
